The ingredients needed to make Rice Kheer:

  1. {Make ready 1 cup of Basmati Rice.
  2. {Take 1 teaspoon of Ghee.
  3. {Take 2 cups of Sugar.
  4. {Make ready 1 litre of Full Cream Milk.
  5. {Prepare 1 pinch of Green Cardamom powder.
  6. {Take handful of Nuts and Raisins.

Instructions to make Rice Kheer:

  1. Wash and soak the basmati rice for 10 to 15 minutes..
  2. Strain the water out and in a pan dry roast it adding with 1 teaspoon of ghee until it's colour change to golden brown. Then keep it aside..
  3. Take a deep pan and pour the full cream milk and bring to a boil. After the milk gets boiled add the roasted rice and cook it to soft and tender..
  4. When the rice gets cooked add sugar and mix it well and stir inbetween till it gets thicken..
  5. Atlast add cardamom powder, stir and garnish with dry nuts and raisins..
  6. Serve hot or chilled..
